VIDEO-SOURCED GUIDE

Flight zoner and aerial pressure

Advanced

Iron Man combines Unibeam and Smart Missiles with Multi-Dash and Free Flight. His core strength is canceling projectile coverage into unusual air movement, then converting the opponent's hesitation into pressure.

Starter game plan

  1. Establish Unibeam or Smart Missiles before entering Multi-Dash so the opponent must respect both movement and projectile timing.
  2. Vary grounded and aerial Repulsor Shot angles, then cancel into flight only when the beam or an assist covers the transition.
  3. Use Iron Avenger as anti-air coverage and a combo tool, not as a substitute for patient screen control.

Key tools

Unibeam

A full-lane projectile and team assist that gives Iron Man time to reposition or start flight pressure.

Smart Missiles

Adds delayed screen coverage that can hold the opponent while Iron Man changes height or side.

Multi-Dash / Free Flight

Creates directional air movement and pressure timing, but demands deliberate routing to avoid predictable flight paths.

Repulsor Shot

Covers grounded and anti-air angles and can feed directly into Iron Man's movement-cancel game.

Lab note: The detailed analysis predates release and explicitly theory-crafts several block-pressure ideas. Core moves are official, but cancel advantage and airtight pressure remain marked for current-build lab verification.
