Motion diagrams follow the character's facing direction. Button colors remain consistent across the full roster; “Variant” rows inherit the parent move's input.
Resource setup and aerial control
Magneto creates debris, applies Magnetize, and then spends those states to enhance Skills. Multi-direction air dashes and Free Flight let him reposition while his projectiles reshape the screen.
Starter game plan
- Create debris with Metallic Meteor or Magnetic Blast before committing to an enhanced setup; the cited footage shows up to three debris clouds.
- Apply Magnetize with a confirmed Metallic Meteor hit, then choose the Skill whose altered behavior solves the current position.
- Use Multi-Dash and Free Flight to bait anti-airs and change projectile angles, not only to rush forward predictably.
Key tools
Creates debris on hit or block and applies Magnetize on hit, establishing both sides of Magneto's resource engine.
Builds debris and changes angle by strength; stored debris can protect the charged version from projectiles.
A grounded or anti-air command grab whose range and pull behavior change with button and Magnetize state.
Places a fast debris attack at selected ranges; the tracking heavy version still needs the opponent held in place.
Lab note: The detailed move-set narration came from pre-release public footage. Core resources and final move names are cross-checked with the official showcase, but exact tracking, damage, and advantage remain patch-sensitive.
