VIDEO-SOURCED GUIDE

Trap zoner and glider mobility

Advanced

Green Goblin layers Razor Bats, multiple Pumpkin Bomb effects, and Glider movement to make the opponent navigate a prepared screen. His basic auto-combos are accessible, but controlling the full kit takes practice.

Starter game plan

  1. Place a projectile or bomb first, then move behind it rather than approaching with Green Goblin's slow walk.
  2. Use Glider Summon and directional movement to change the attack angle, then retreat before exhausting the glider resource.
  3. At the wall, route into Shock & Awe for the transition or splat; use the bomb layer to cover the next approach.

Key tools

Razor Bats

Fast projectile coverage with different angles and enhanced hit count; a reliable layer before movement.

Pumpkin Bomb

Cycles through Sticky, Explosive, Poison, and Stun variants that reward planned sequencing rather than random throwing.

Glider Raid

Calls glider-based coverage that can hold space while Green Goblin follows behind it.

Glider movement

Adds vertical and horizontal routes plus character-specific attacks, but consumes a limited movement resource.

Lab note: Green Goblin is not a simple walk-forward character. Poor bomb order or glider-resource use leaves gaps, so rehearse one projectile layer and one safe exit before adding more traps.
