Pre-release and caption note: The AdvancingGuardTV breakdown was recorded from an early build on April 8, 2026. Its auto-captions occasionally use the wrong character name, so the move names and command relationships below are taken from the published command list. Exact durability, frame data, and mix-up timing remain to be confirmed.
Danger's neutral is an obstacle course
Danger's basic identity is a zoner who can decide where the next projectile comes from. Her unique Calibrate projectile splits into satellites, and the other Skills can interact with those satellites to attack at angles that a normal fireball cannot reach.
The learning order matters:
- Place one Calibrate and keep it alive.
- Fire one beam through it and watch the tracking angle.
- Add a rocket or assist only after you can identify the first pattern.
- Use Translocation to leave or change sides once the opponent is already respecting the screen.
Do not start with a full bullet-hell pattern. If Danger cannot explain which object is active, the player is giving up the character's strongest advantage.
Calibrate is both a projectile and a set of coordinates
Calibrate can be fired from the ground or air in several directions. The video explains that pressing Unique again stops the projectile and splits it into three satellites wherever it is currently located. That gives Danger fine control over height and spacing instead of a fixed three-way pattern.
Practice the two versions separately:
- Contact split: let Calibrate reach the opponent or wall, then learn where the satellites appear.
- Manual split: fire it high or diagonally, tap Unique again, and record the exact satellite positions.
The upper-screen setup shown in the video is an interesting theory pattern, not a guaranteed neutral win. The opponent can still challenge the recalibration or destroy the object through the durability system, so use an assist when the setup takes time.
Beam first, then choose the rocket question
Holobeam is Danger's primary beam. The light version travels horizontally, while the medium version changes its ground or air angle; the enhanced version combines the coverage. When a beam passes through a Calibrate satellite, the video shows it tracking toward the opponent's last known position.
Holoseeker adds rockets after the beam input. Light travels more directly, while medium and enhanced versions add tracking or additional projectiles according to the cited breakdown. The useful rule is that the rocket extends the beam question—it does not replace it. The official command list also notes that the hold version is the separate Holoseeker input, so practice the transition without relying on an auto-combo.
Use a pattern only when you can answer the opponent's likely escape:
| Defender response | Danger's first question |
|---|---|
| Jumps over horizontal beam | Medium-angle Holobeam or a prepared satellite |
| Walks forward | Beam through Calibrate, then retreat or call an assist |
| Blocks and waits | Holoseeker timing or a safe teleport fake |
| Shoots back | Re-place Calibrate after the clash; do not insist on a broken pattern |
Translocation converts space into a mix-up
Translocation needs Calibrate on screen to reach the satellites. The breakdown shows Danger choosing left, right, or neutral to appear at different satellites, with assists creating a left-right decision after the opponent has been occupied by projectiles.
The move has meaningful startup. Do not mash it during blockstun or while the opponent is already beside Danger; the source demonstrates that raw teleport attempts can be punished. Use it after the opponent has committed to blocking a beam, after a satellite forces a jump, or as a retreat through a prepared object.
In the corner, do not assume the teleport crosses up. The source explicitly says corner side-switch behavior is different, so test the landing side and the defender's jump/reversal answers before writing a setup as guaranteed.
Drill Piercer and assists supply the close-range layer
Danger's Drill Piercer can be used as a command-normal pressure check and the detached drill can move forward. The cited breakdown describes light as the safer chip-oriented version, with medium or enhanced versions supplying different hit or combo behavior. Because those claims come from an early build, start at max range and record the opponent's fastest punish.
Kill Switch is a forward attack that can convert when it hits but is unsafe when thrown out raw. Danger's pressure is strongest when the zoning pattern has already made the opponent hold still; call the drill or an assist, then take the close hit rather than rushing into Kill Switch from neutral.
